SWIMATHON raises OVER £20,000 for local CHARITIES and ORGANISATIONS

The 48 teams taking part in the Swimathon filled all available lanes and included local schools, community groups and local companies and organisations. They included a team of physiotherapists from Mayday Hospital; members of the London Fire Brigade Swim Team; the Croydon Young Stroke Group; South East Cancer Help Centre; Surrey Association for Visual Impairment.
These are the organisations taking part in the Swimathon. Some entries had more than one team:

A group of swimmers who regularly use local swimming pools – the Earlybirds – raised £3,500. Their chosen charity was the Royal Marsden Hospital.
